Going through the darkness all alone, struggling in the cocoon of life, with one focus for a destiny, using little or no resources available only that which is buried within. Oh be careful, do not scar (your beauty) the future with the steps of today! A little to the left, more to the right, oh yes its so difficult...you alone in the dark with nothing to help you see...
'Oh you promised to help me get out of this..you were all that I had, but where are you...?' it cried out loud, 'I am left with nothing but the inner strengths, the dogged determination'; yes all around you they are budding and taking flight, scattered around in beautiful colours.
You try a lot to be free of this thing called present...and just when you grew so weak, with no strength left to fight, the last shreds come off and suddenly you emerge...stronger and bigger with the most unusual colours mother nature ever had in mind...
Yes all around you others stop to stare cos they are shocked at how long it took you but amazed at how beautiful your wings are...they've been set in the most unusual pattern because it took you longer to emerge.
'Hmmm, oh how perfect I look,' says the butterfly...

ReplyDeletesuspense at the instant you start - no idea of where she's going with it at first. Till I got to the last line! (Maybe I'm just dumb)..lol!
But I loved it more when I could add the pieces together - A Brave Butterfly!!
